Violinist sisters Angela and Jennifer Chun explore together the repertoire for two violins. For this recording they have assembled 20th-century works from the most varied of horizons. From the Soviet Russia of Shostakovich, by way of the American exile of the Czech Martinů and the Frenchman Darius Milhaud, their programme finally brings them back to their own Korean roots with the Sonatina and Pezzo Fantasioso of Isang Yun, presented here in their world premiere recording.
